Each month we will honor a member of our Lodge who is no longer with us but whose presence we continually feel. This month’s honoree was born on the 20th day of August 1923. He was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on the 17th day of June 1968 in Gideon Lodge No. 84, Kingston, New Hampshire. He dimitted to Northside Lodge No. 283 on the 17th day of June 1975. He served the Lodge as Chaplain in 2000 and again in 2005. On the 1st day of July 2013, he laid down his working tools and entered the Celestial Lodge above.
From the above description, you probably don’t know who we are honoring. During his earthly presence, Brother George was an artist. A kind and generous man who used his talent to honor others. When you enter our Lodge room, gaze upon the South, North and West walls. Take a good look at the paintings hanging upon those walls. They were lovingly created by Brother George Ernest Clark.
No matter if it is a Degree or a Stated Communication, Brother Clark is always there. Urging us on and reminding us of our roots. Through his handy work, and the words of a learned Brother, much can be explained to a new Brother about some of what he experienced during a Degree. We Honor you Brother George Ernest Clark, for adorning our walls with beauty and education. We are as grateful to you for your arduous labor as you were grateful to those to whom you dedicated each work of art.
